Amoreiras Shopping Center is one of the first shopping centers in Lisbon, Portugal. Amoreiras shopping center was built in 1985. The credit of designing this building goes to architect Tómas Taveira. It is a gigantic structure, with a modern design.
The shopping center was quite controversial owing to its design and choice of color. However, later on, the design as well as the color gained popularity and can now be seen in nook and corner of Lisbon.

The building has 12 storeys. The shopping center houses 300 stores, 10 cinemas, 55 restaurants, a post office, banks, a fitness club fully equipped with a tennis court and swimming pool, beauty salons and a supermarket. The shopping center is equipped with facilities for disabled.

The shopping center opening timings are 10 am to 11 pm, all seven days of the week. The shopping center remains closed on 25th December each year.
Bus numbers 11, 23 and 53 travel to Amoreiras Shopping Center. Rotunda metro services also reaches to the shopping center.
