The Amsterdams Historisch Museum is a museum that illustrates Amsterdams history displaying various items from the Middle Ages to the present day. Located in the old Civil Orphanage since 1975, the museum displays paintings, models, photographs, and archeological findings. Also on display is a 'white car', which is an environmentally friendly vehicle from the 1960's, a playable carillon and a real Jordaan caf¨¦?
