The Amtrak Station in Ardmore, Oklahoma (station code ADM) is located at 251 East Main Street in downtown Ardmore. It was originally constructed by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway and is currently owned by Amtrak. The station is a stop on Amtrak?s Heartland Flyer route, which goes from Fort Worth, Texas to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. From Fort Worth, trains head to Gainesville, Texas and then to Ardmore (the first stop in Oklahoma), followed Pauls Valley, Purcell, Norman and finally OK City. Ardmore?s station is a platform with shelter and no ticketing service is currently available, nor any baggage checking or baggage help (information current as of 09/09). Tickets must be purchased elsewhere if hoping to board the Heartland Flyer in Ardmore.

The station itself is open seven days a week, from 10:30 am until 7:30 pm. It has accessibility for handicapped persons wishing to board the Heartland Flyer in Ardmore. Nearby hotel accommodations are extensive. Less than a half mile off are a La Quinta Inn and a Best Western hotel. On Veterans Boulevard, a Super 8 Motel and a Guest Inn are available.
