A small marina can be found in Batsi where yachts are available for cruising. Here there are several restaurants, tavernas and clubs which make for a pleasant time in the island. The bars in Gavrion and Batsi are great places to hang out for a lively nightlife. Many shopping areas are in Chora where crafts, textiles, jewelry and ceramics can be bought. The island’s main event is held at the Museum of Art each summer with stunning exhibitions which are a worldwide attraction. Ploes is the regular art and music events. Film events are held by the island’s film club.
