To be perfectly honest, this is not a destination for people on a very small budget but if you can afford it, you certainly won’t be disappointed. The village and ski area can be reached by bus or train. A lift takes you up to the peak for the downhill ski adventure of your life – it’s real high, 1420 meters high. The view will literally take your breath away. Then there is also a park with jumps, rails and half-pipes for snowboarding. This is the place to come to learn to ski and instructors speak fluent English for us unilingual folk. Apart from skiing and snowboarding there is dog sledding and snow mobile racing. And if you get hungry from all the exitement there are always their famous reindeer burgers served at almost any restaurant. During the evenings there are enough bars and cocktail lounges to cater to your needs, even DJ’s and live bands feature in some venues.
Hotels, chalets and apartments are all of the highest quality and budget accommodation is hard to find.
