During the summer, you can enjoy hiking in the village’s scenic mountains. Pic de Coma Pedrosa, the highest mountain in Andorra, is located in this vicinity and is an excellent pot for spectacular views of the area. Walkers and bikers will enjoy the beauty which this natural countryside has to offer. Helicopter flights are also available to get an even better view of the breathtaking landscape. Bowling is another enjoyable activity available.
During the winter, skiing schools reopen in full boom with exciting and easy to learn ski lessons. A cable car is available to transport skiers to the main ski area which is centrally located in the village. Intermediate and beginner skiers will love the terrain. The main activities include touring the mountains on ski bikes, dog sledging in the evenings, snow shoeing, tobogganing and driving snow mobiles across the snow covered terrain. Superb snowboarding activities also exist in Arinsal. One of the town’s largest events is the Big Snow Festival in March which attracts people from all over the country.
Arsinal has a lot of good restaurants, cafes and over 24 bars which are opened late in the night. Places such as Bar 360 overlooking the river, La Jungla, and the Disco-pub Solana are excellent choices for entertainment. For local food, El Panells is a nice restaurant to visit while MexicObelix has spicy and tasty Central American cuisines. The Caldea spa in Andorra la Vella is a fantastic relaxation spot with indoor and outdoor pools, fountains and waterfalls, saunas, Jacuzzis, Turkish baths, hydrotherapy and massage.
