Hiking to Mt. Tangkuban Perahu is highly recommended as, in addition to the scenic views which can be obtained from the mountain, there is also a phenomenal volcanic crater and some smaller ones to the side. For more energizing activities, clubs like the Jalan Dago are strung out all over the city. The town’s most sought after event is the Bandung Festival which runs for a whole month in September to October.
