or Berck accommodation? Berck (Berck-Sur-Mer) is a beautiful coastal town in the Pas-de-Calais department of France. The town’s main attraction lies in its wide expanse of unspoilt sandy beaches. The beach area is decorated in some parts with impressive sand dunes worth looking at. The Municipal Museum showcases paintings done by various artists highlighting the old fishing days in the town. A remarkable archaeological collection with underwater excavations can also be seen there. Berck hosts quite a few events yearly. One of the main attractions is the annual Summer International Kite Festival. This colourful event attracts talents from all over the world and is one of Europe’s largest events of this kind. There is also an exciting kite buggying race. The Festival de la Cote d’Opale also occurs in Berck and other French towns, and features many concerts such a jazz and pop.
