United Kingdom)
or Blackburn accommodation? The town of Blackburn in Lancashire, England, is probably best known for it’s Premier League Football team – the Blackburn Rovers. There are, however, other attractions in this town. The Blackburn market is one of these – it’s one of the largest in the country, and thanks to Blackburn’s ongoing history as a textile producer, it’s a great place to find bargains on textiles. To find out more about Blackburn, visit the Lewis Textile Museum, and the Blackburn Museum Art Gallery, both on museum street. The Gothic style cathedral in the centre of town is another popular attraction, and a walk through Witton Country Park, or a visit to the visitors centre, are both worthwhile ways to spend some time in Blackburn. When it comes to food, there aren’t that many unique restaurants, but for some local produce, including cheeses, black pudding and other delicacies, the market hall on market days is a must, or visit the Clog and Billycock, which is a traditional pub style restaurant. Stanley House is another option – it’s a boutique hotel with a restaurant, and serves good food, although the prices are quite high. - Browse the Blackburn Map or compare Blackburn accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
