or Bodmin accommodation? The town of Bodmin is a small town on the western edge of the Bodmin Moor, with around ten thousand residents, and while it used to be the county town, that honor has now passed to Truro. Getting to Bodmin can be tricky, but thanks to the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway, built and maintained by an enthusiast, getting back to London, or at least linking up with London bound trains, is easy. The Camel Trail is a walking and cycling path that runs near the centre of Bodmin, linking nearby Padstow with Bodmin Moor, and it’s a popular activity for visiting families. There is a military museum, and the Bodmin Jail is also a historic attraction in the town. You won’t find luxury hotels in the area of the town, but there are self-catering holiday cottages to rent in and around Bodmin, and the town is a nice place to use as a base to explore the moors, and neighboring towns in Cornwall. - Browse the Bodmin Map or compare Bodmin accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
