One of he town’s main attractions is the Cultural Complex of the Republic which is a technologically advanced architectural complex featuring the dome shaped National Museum and library. Those in search of gold can stop by the Monetary Museum and have a look at Brasilia’s gold bars and the history of money in Brazil. The Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge is worth a visit and some photos.
Brasilia is home to a phenomenal city park known as the Brasilia National Park, with its advanced playgrounds, picnic sites and beautiful waterfalls. The Botanical Garden and Zoo are places which should be visited. For entertainment, the National Theatre has live cultural performances and there is a Cinema Festival each November. Brasilia’s biggest music festival is the Porao do Rock in July, August or September and promises wild entertainment to massive crowds. Other exciting events include the Handicraft Fair on weekends and holidays and the Japanese Festival. For sports, basketball, golf and wakeboard are the main activities. Jogging in the city park can prove to be quite exhilarating. There are many restaurants, shops and clubs ready to accommodate a great experience of the city. For a spectacular view of the city, you can tour Brasilia’s TV tower.
