United Kingdom)
or Brecon accommodation? The town of Brecon is located within the natural beauty of the Brecon Beacons, in the county of Brecknockshire. It is a small, country market town, and a good place to experience Wales. To reach Brecon, you will need to take a train or bus from Cardiff or Swansea, or drive yourself, and once in town, walking will take you to most of the sights. The Brecon Cathedral is one of the main attractions in the town of Brecon, and with parts of it being built in the 11th century; it is a historic site too. A little later, in the 16th century, King Henry VIII built Christ College, also worth a visit. In August, the town plays host to the Brecon Jazz Festival, a must for music lovers, and of course, all year round, there is the beautiful Brecon Beacons to explore. Felin Fach Griffin is an inn and restaurant, and one of the best in the area, so well worth a visit, and for something a little different in accommodation, why not stay in the Craig Y Nos Castle? - Browse the Brecon Map or compare Brecon accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
