Chambery is the entrance to the regional natural parks of Chartreuse and of the Bauges and to the Vanoise National Park. Some other significant and interesting structures include St François cathedral, Notre-Dame church, the Fountain of the Elephants and the statue of the Sasson among others. Walking canyoning, paragliding and hiking are just a few of the activities and be sure to enjoy Sunset over the Nivolet cross from one of Chanberry’s lookout points.
