United Kingdom)
or Chelmsford accommodation? The town of Chelmsford lies about thirty miles northeast of London, and it is widely known as the birthplace of radio. Although you can reach the town from London and Gatwick, Stansted Airport is much closer, and from there, it is a train ride to the town. There are also busses to town, and once there, you can walk around the town centre, or drive or take a bus to attractions that are further afield. The town plays host to the V Festival – organized by the Virgin Group, in March every year, so if you are in town at that time, you have the opportunity to see some of the world’s best music acts in action. The Chelmsford Cathedral has been rebuilt a number of times during its eight hundred year history, but the cathedral and its grounds are still one of the main attractions in Chelmsford. The Shire Hall, built in the late 18th century, is another popular attraction in the town. There are a variety of pubs, restaurants and bars in the town, and, given the proximity to London, there is no wonder that nearly every taste is catered for. - Browse the Chelmsford Map or compare Chelmsford accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
