Soga Harbor City is a new retail development with shopping mall, cinema, bathhouse, and other attractions.

Many people visit the area on Sundays, so it is usually crowded, but finding a suitable place to sit and eat is normally not a problem.
When it comes to nightlife, the Joint is a very friendly bar situated about 15 minutes from Chiba station. During football season you can watch live Premiership games, they usually have a DJ and you can drink actual pints of Kilkenny.
