Searching for hotels in Chivasso (Italy) or Chivasso accommodation?  Chivasso is a municipality and town in the region of Piedmont, Italy. It lies in the province known as Turin, about twenty kilometers from the city of Turin.
Modern Chivasso is a quiet, peaceful little town, with around twenty five thousand residents, but it has a long and interesting history. This is evidenced by the Roman name that the town was originally given, Clavasium, which a few local businesses have begun to revive.
Among the attractions in Chivasso are the Chivasso Cathedral and clock tower, with the former being a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture, and the latter slightly more modern, although still historic and well worth a visit.
The town shares borders with several other small municipalities, all of which have unique attractions and sights, and of course, there is always the city of Turin to explore. With small family owned restaurants and a rich cultural and historic feel, however, Chivasso is certainly worth a visit.
