or Cirencester accommodation? Located in the Cotswolds, the Gloucestershire town of Cirencester is pretty, ancient, and interesting. It is difficult to get to if you are not driving, as there are no trains, but there are busses from Swindon, Cheltenham, and Stroud. In fact, this town was the location of the Roman Empire in the Cotswolds, although it was known as Corinium at the time. There is still a Roman amphitheater outside town that can be visited. The Corinium Museum is a great place to visit if you are interested in the history of the town and the area, or visit the Parish Church of St John the Baptist, which is locally nicknamed the ‘cathedral of the Cotswolds.’ An interesting choice of hotel in the town would be the Old Brewhouse Bed and Breakfast, which is a 17th century building, converted to accommodation, or you could opt for the more mainstream Watermark Hotel, which is a part of the Four Pillars Hotel group. - Browse the Cirencester Map or compare Cirencester accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
