United Kingdom)
or Conwy accommodation? The small walled town of Conwy in northern Wales is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and with good reason, thanks to some amazing historical sites. To reach Conwy, you will need to take a train or a bus, but this is a small town, and walking is fine once you are there. The Conwy Castle, built by Edward the first in 1289 is a remarkable sight, and quite well preserved, given the centuries that it has been standing. Then there is the Conwy Town Wall, which is still intact, and which can be accessed through one of the twenty-two towers. Walking along the wall gives one a good idea of what the town might have been like nearly a millennium ago. Aberconwy House is another historic site you will not want to miss. It is believed to be the oldest house in Wales, and was built in the 14th century. There are several other unique historical sites in this small town, and they are all worth a visit while you are there. Since this is also a fishing town, walking along the riverfront, or dining on fish and chips at the Galleon and the Fisherman, near the waterfront, is another must do. - Browse the Conwy Map or compare Conwy accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
