The castle-like Decatur Courthouse made of pink granite is a Texas Historical Landmark and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places – still functioning as a courthouse even to this day, tours are conducted with prior arrangement with the County Judge’s office. Other attractions/landmarks are the Waggoner Museum, Oak Lawn Cemetery, The Woody Cabin, and the Petrified Wood Gas Station.
