or Dinard accommodation? Dinard is in north-eastern Brittany, France. Dinard lies on the Gulf Stream which means it enjoys a warm climate, several degrees warmer than the surrounding areas. The Yacht Club has fine examples of tropical palms and plants, that stretches round the coast on the Promenade du Claire de Lune, which pipes out music throughout the evening for you to enjoy while taking a walk. Its beaches and mild climate make it a popular holiday destination and Dinard boasts a dynamic nightlife, with many bars and fine restaurants that fill the town's streets. The great quantity of beaches coupled with a constant sunny weather, will attract you to take a swim in any of their lovely beaches, such as the Plage de l'Ecluse or the Plage de St Enogat Beaches. Dinard sprawls around the western side of the Rance Estuary, and features a statue of Alfred Hitchcock on a huge egg, with a fierce looking bird on his shoulder. Other attractions for you to see while in Dinard are the 19th century houses along the sea-front that are very attractive, if you have the time to head one way out of town along the coast, head east for the views at the end of the headland called Moulinet Point, from here you will get a splendid views of the St. Malo across the water and along the way make sure you admire the plush villas while enjoying the spectacular sea views. Another excellent walk is to the Promenade du Clair de Lune or Moonlight walking, along the Prieure beach that takes you through the gardens which are lit up in the evening and have music playing.
There are other places of interest in and around Dinard for you to see such as the Port Breton Park that has a large rose garden and if you have children with you there is a range of children’s games. Or you may visit the Montmarin Garden; this garden is on the banks of the River Rance and is a stylish garden in front of an 18th century mansion. While in Dinard, there are two main festivals for you to attend, namely the British Film Festivals and the Festival International de Musique de Dinard.
