United States)
or Frisco (Texas) accommodation? Frisco is a city which is part of two counties in Texas, United States Collin and Denton. The city is wealthy and had experienced significant economic and population growth in recent years so that the population of 33,714 in the 2000 Census has actually increased to more than 100,000 in the citys 2008 estimate. It is a Tree City USA as designated by the National Arbor Day Foundation.
When the American pioneers settled in the Dallas area, they travelled along the old Shawnee Trail. Soon, a community was born on the trail Lebanon. The town grew along with the opening of the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway in the area making way for the creation of the Town of Emerson. However, because there is already a town of the same name in Texas, it was rejected by the US Postal Service prompting the need to change its name to Frisco City in honor of the town in which the railway was founded. The name was later shortened to Frisco.
Frisco has a lot to offer in terms of points of interest and landmarks some of these are the Heritage Museum, Texas Sculpture Garden & International Art, Central Park, and Bronze Cattle Drive Depictions.
