The Abbaye Notre Dame d'Autrey is an important heritage site. Places like the garden of the High Altitude Chitelet, Gardens Callunes and Botanical Garden Gondremer are excellent recreational spots.
For entertainment, the Media Center and the Ludotheque are excellent hang out spots. The Fantastic'Arts festival of horror and the Film Festival are two of the town’s most important events held annually in January. In December, there is a fete for wine and local produce and a colorful Christmas Market. The exciting Encounters Film Gerardmer is held in March.
