or Golfo Aranci accommodation? Golfo Aranci is a comune in the Province of Olbia-Tempio in the Italian region of Sardinia. It is located about 200 km north of Cagliari and about 13 km northeast of Olbia. The Italian comune, is a great holiday destination with many beautiful beaches.
Golfo Aranci is very popular with tourists because of its exceptional natural environment, beautiful white sandy beaches and splendid rocky headlands. The fantastic beaches in the gulf itself and the Cala Moresca, Cala Greca, Cala Sabina and White Beach are all great for swimming and other water sports activities. You can also visit the spectacular Cala Sassari beach, Cala Banana, Sos Aranzos and Terrata village.
The magnificent cove, surrounded by the gentle peaks of Monte Canareddu and Monte Maiori, covered in lush Mediterranean scrub, is bordered by numerous granite rocks, which have been shaped by the water.
The comune’s other attractions include the church of Nostra Signora del Monte which has a fantastic landscape and a beautiful granite cross on the impressive fronton; and the old lime factory which is now a monument of industrial archaeology.
You should not miss the Nuragic Sacred Well of Milis or Golfo Aranci’s annual fish festival, which occurs on the 15th of August.
