Goppingen Accommodation

Searching for hotels in Goppingen (Germany) or Goppingen accommodation?  Göppingen is a city in southern Germany, part of the Stuttgart Region of Baden-Württemberg. It is the capital of the district Göppingen and is situated at the bottom of the Hohenstaufen Mountain, in the valley of the river Fils. In August of 1782 a tragic fire destroyed most of the town but it was then rebuilt and became an industry center during the 19th century.
The entire area is filled with history and a beautiful landscape, surrounding populated with hill-top castles countryside and a few major towns. The model railway is another attraction to view once you are in the city with its numerous tracks and various engines.
Places like the state capital Stuttgart to the west, to the south Tubingen and Ulm the historic city with its enormous church tower to the southeast. The magnificent Munster here is 536ft high, which is the highest in the world, took 500 years to build. To reach the viewing platform you have to climb 768 steps which are worth it as you will be rewarded with a lovely view.
Goppingen also hosts numerous events through-out the years which generally includes costumes and dressing up.
