or Goynuk accommodation? The district, and town, of Goynuk, is located in the Black Sea area of Bolu Province, in Turkey. While the district itself is home to nearly twenty thousand people, the town itself has only around five thousand residents. Historically, the town is a very interesting place to visit. It has been occupied by a variety of ancient civilizations, including the Lydian’s, Phrygians and Romans, and some relics, like the Catak Hamami bathhouse survive from Roman times, and are still in use. As of the 14th century, however, Goynuk became a part of the Ottoman Empire, and there are still a variety of houses built in the Ottoman period, that date back to the early twentieth century.
