An ancient-style dock from the Ming and Qing Dynasties can also be seen as well as the Former Residence of Deng Xiaoping and the remarkable Jincheng Mountain. The Guang’an Deng Xiaoping Memorial Park is a must see.
There are several fairs and festivals which are held in Gunag’an yearly. A major highlight is the temple fairs in the third, sixth and ninth lunar months. The temple fair of the sixth lunar month in the Huaying Mountain is the most popular of these events highlighting local folk costumes. The Baobao Festival has roots from 300 years ago and is a very festive time in the city.
