Hsinchu Accommodation

Searching for hotels in Hsinchu (Taiwan) or Hsinchu accommodation?  At nearly four hundred years old, the city of Hsinchu, in the north west of Taiwan, is the oldest in the North of the country. Taoyuan Airport is the nearest airport to this historic city, and is around thirty minutes away; however there are also trains, and buses, to get you there.
Getting around Hsinchu is fairly easy, thanks to the bus service; however, taxis can be a little more difficult to come by.
While the city of Hsinchu has many parks and green spaces, like the Hsinchu Botanical Garden, Green Grass Lake and others, it is the Eighteen Peaks Mountain, with its hiking and walking paths, just outside the city that will appeal to nature lovers. There is also the Hsinchu Zoo to explore, with its exotic exhibits.
Whether its temples, museums or other historic sites that interest you, Hsinchu has them. Make sure to visit the City God Temple on Zhongsan Road, and the East Gate, which is one of the city’s best-known landmarks. The Craft Glass Museum is another attraction worth visiting. It is essentially a gallery dedicated to the craft of glass blowing, which is one of the city’s main industries.
Like many cities in China and surrounding countries, there are plenty of restaurants that serve local cuisine, but, as with most, you need to make completely sure what you are getting, as some of the ingredients are quite exotic. As for accommodation, you can choose from the Ambassador Hotel on Zhongua Road, the Hsinchu Berkeley or several other fine establishments, so you should not have any trouble.
