Relais Il Chiostro di Pienza is situated in the heart of the Renaissance city of Pienza - Open since 1993 - the hotel is set in a beautifully restored fifteenth century Franciscan convent located next to the thirteenth century Church of San Francesco and overlooks the Orcia Valley - The hotel entrance is found by entering the well-preserved cloisters of San Francesco from the main street - Once inside guests can discover a small meeting room with terracotta flooring and a beautiful lounge with bright and comfortable sofas - antique wooden furniture and marble flooring which opens onto a splendid panoramic terrace with a view of the entire Val D-Orcia from the Castle of Montalcino to the Tower of the Brigand Ghino di Tacco at Radicofani dominated by the powerful presence of Monte Amiata - On our terrace there are seating areas where our guests can enjoy breakfast - lunch or dinner by candlelight - There is also a panoramic swimming pool and sunbathing area and a traditional Tuscan style restaurant - The guest bedrooms are located over three floors of the building on two sides of the cloisters and offer comfortable accommodation with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay.
