or Kas accommodation? Kas is a small city in the southern, Mediterranean region of Turkey. There is a wide range of attractions in and around the city, and it is a popular destination for visitors to Turkey, although it has managed to avoid being too crowded. Buses are the best option for reaching Kas, although the city does lie about mid way between Dalaman and Antalya Airports, and you could fly to either, and take a taxi the roughly one hundred kilometers to town. Aside from the small beach and rocky shore, where sunbathing is a popular activity, many of the attractions in Kas are historic. These include sites like the ancient city of Phellos, the ruins of Aperlai, the Patara ruins, and the acropolis. All of these, and others, are worth a visit, although you may want to hire a scooter to reach some of the farther flung ones. Being a coastal city, water sports are another popular attraction in Kas. Sea kayaking, scuba diving, and snorkeling are just a few that are within driving distance of the city. On the shore, you can try your hand at canyoning or coasteering, cycling or hiking.
