Museums such as the Korgialereios Museum, the Kosmetatos Museum and the Archaeological Museum are worth visiting.

An amazing touring experience can be had by visiting the Drogorati Caves. The caves highlight stalactites and stalagmites of a rare golden beauty millions of years old. The spectacular Melissani Cave features an underground lake running out into the island is supposedly the remains of a collapsed landform. For sports, sailing, diving, wind and kite surfing opportunities are available. For entertainment, the island has a number of bars and nightclubs and cinemas such as Rumours Bar and Argostoli Cinema. Ellis Restaurant by the lake and the Mermaid Restaurant by the beach have a great cuisine lined up.
