Then there’s hiking, with plenty of choice, ranging from lakeside walks to more challenging trails into the hills, and the three thousand foot hill, Skiddaw.
Traditional pubs are also plentiful in Keswick, and whether you choose to enjoy local dishes like roast lamb or Borrowdale trout, or a real ale, establishments like the Four in Hand, the Dog and Gun, and the Bank Tavern are the perfect place to do just that.
