or Kinder accommodation? Kinder is a town located within the Allen Parish of Louisiana in the United States. Based on data from the United States Census Bureau, in 2000, the town had a population of 2,148; it also has a land area of 4.1 square kilometers – no part of the town has a water body.
Kinder is best known for the Coushatta Casino Resort which is the largest casino in the State of Louisiana. The resort is not just a casino but is also home to an 18-hole, par 72 championship layout golf course – the Koasati Pines.
It is the home of Beau Jocque who is a zydeco museum, Mayor J. Rayburn Bertrand who became the mayor of Lafayette in 1960 to 1972, and Lieutenant Douglas B. Fournet who was an American Legion enterprise – the Lieutenant Douglas B. Fournet Memorial Park, a memorial for those who died in military service, was named after him.
Aside from the memorial park, Kinder is also visited for the casino resort and other attractions such as Kids Quest.
