Ko Tao Accommodation

It is a tiny island, of around twenty-one square kilometers, but it is very popular with visitors, particularly as a scuba diving destination.
To reach the island, you will need to take a boat, either from Bangkok to the North, Surat Thani in the south, or from one of the other islands in the area. Motorcycle rentals on the island should get you to most of the attractions, but make sure that you note any scratches or dents before hand, as some stores will charge you for nonexistent damage.
There are many dive operators on the island, and with every month but November being great dive weather, if you love to scuba dive, or want to learn, this is the place. You will see turtles, small sharks, an amazing array of fish and more when you dive, and it really is money and time well spent.
Other activities on the island are rock climbing, hiking to the parts of the island that are not accessible by road, cruising and sailing, water sports and even yoga. There are also several nice restaurants, ranging from Thai to Tex Mex, and lively bars like the Lotus Bar and others, so your nights are well catered for too.
