Koh Phi Phi Accommodation

Searching for hotels in Koh Phi Phi (Thailand) or Koh Phi Phi accommodation?  Ko Phi Phi is actually a small archipelago of islands off the coast of Thailand, in the Krabi Province. Ko Phi Phi Don, however, is the largest and only populated island among them. To reach the island, you can take a ferry from Phuket or Krabi, and once there, you will have to walk to your chosen destinations, as there is almost no motorized transport on the island.
Monkey beach is a popular destination, although, with no road access, you will have to combine your sightseeing with a canoe paddle. The other islands are also worth exploring, and boats can be hired to take you to the various islands, which include the one where the movie ‘the Beach’ was filmed.
The Tsunami Memorial Garden, next door to the Tia and Mille Sunflower Bar, is a nice place to remember those lost in that tragic event, or you could choose to do what most visitors to the island do – snorkel, scuba dive, swim and sunbathe.
Fire shows are a feature every night at several island venues, and there are several bars, restaurants, clubs and other entertainments to explore. Then again, for something a little more relaxing, there are also spas at several of the resorts on the island.
The Holiday Inn Resort offers comfortable, familiar accommodation, but it is a little far from the excitement on the island, so if you are looking for accommodation nearer the bars and nightlife, one of the smaller resorts may be worth exploring.
