United States)
or Laramie accommodation? The city of Laramie is located some seven thousand feet above sea level, in the Rocky Mountains of Southeast Wyoming. While its altitude makes it beautiful, and offers a range of activities, visitors should be aware that until they adjust to the atmosphere, they should take it easy, to avoid altitude sickness. Laramie Regional Airport serves the city, or visitors may choose to fly to Denver International Airport, and drive themselves. There are also Greyhound buses into the city. One of the most popular attractions in the town of Laramie is the Snowy Scenic Byway, that winds through Snowy Pass from Laramie to Saratoga. Along the way, you can stop for fishing, hiking, or picnicking opportunities. Another attraction is the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site. This prison, which was opened in the 1800’s, and which is now closed, was once home to some of the worst criminals in the area, but is now open for tours. The Comfort Inn on Grand Avenue offers comfortable accommodation and free breakfast, while the Holiday Inn on 30th Street is another well-known option. Aside from these, you will find several other options to choose from for accommodation. - Browse the Laramie Map or compare Laramie accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
