You can also explore the underground chapel of Ayia Phaneromeni to view its magnificent rock cavern structure. The orthodox church of Lazarus attracts a lot of visitors as it lays on the tomb of Lazarus, the friend of Jesus Christ in the Bible. The Hala Sultan Teke Monastery, the 1600s Fort of Lancara and the ancient aqueduct known as The Kamares are other interesting spots in the city. The art gallery in Larnaca is home to the Pieridis Museum of Antiquities among other important cultural buildings.
