Italy)
or Lavagna accommodation? Lavagna, a fishing port village of about 13,000 inhabitants, is in the Genoa province of Italy. The village is usually very crowded with tourists in August, who come to enjoy the beautiful beaches.
Just a few of the sights to see are the Basilica of Santo Stefano, dating from the 17th century, the Basilica of Santa Giulia, which dates back to 1654, and the Torre del Borgo, which is a medieval tower, and is now home to the art gallery. Since 1949, the village has been re-creating neo-medieval festivities, which involve a colourful cortege through the streets of the area. Also offered in the town is the Pleasure Boat Harbour, as well as golf, hiking, walking, swimming, and lots of nightlife.
Shopping is really a pleasure in Lavagna. Most of the shops in the town are in the ground floors of the houses, and are very pretty. Other shops include Pasticceria Antica Piaggio, Great Chocolate, and much, much, more.
Restaurants are everywhere in the town and include Lucin, Pastificio OLGA, Last Beach, and La Brocca.
