or Leba accommodation? The town of Leba is in Middle Pomerania, Poland, and lies on the shores of the Baltic Sea, and on the mouth of the Leba River. Lebsko Lake is another local attraction, and the town is very near the shores of this body of water. Leba itself has been around since the 13th century, although it has been relocated a little further to the east of its original position over the years. This was mainly due to seasonal flooding, and encroaching sand dunes, that threatened the original settlement. The ruins of St Nicholas church, which lie en route to the beach, are one area of interest that you should try to visit while in Leba. There is also a fisherman’s church that dates back to the late 17th century, and several fishermen’s homes in town that date to the 19th century. The Slowinski National Park, which features ever-moving sand dunes, is a great choice for nature lovers, or, if you are interested, there is a former rocket test-launching site nearby that you can visit.
