Italy)
or Legnano accommodation? The town and commune, or municipality, of Legnano, Italy, lies in the northwestern part of Lombardy, in an area known as the Po Valley. It is near both the beautiful and historic city of Milan, and Lake Maggiore. Legnano, or at least the area on which it stands, has been inhabited since ancient times, from around the 21st century BC. Later, it was settled by the Celts, and after that by the Romans. With such a long history, it is no wonder that there are many historic buildings in the town. These include the beautiful Basilica of San Magno, which was built in the 16th century, and the Legnano Castle, which was in fact a convent before it was enlarged and renovated by a local family. Legnano may not be a large city, but it does have interesting sights to see, and is a good base from which to explore Milan, and Lake Maggiore. Alternatively, if you are going to be in Milan, why not plan a side trip to the town? - Browse the Legnano Map or compare Legnano accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
