The Salt Museum houses remnants of Liverpool’s salt mining past while the Sainte Marie Among the Iroquois is a recreation of the French settlement that first inhabited the area. The other amenities of the park include a skate park, a butterfly garden, and sports venues.

After spending some time with nature in any of Liverpool’s parks, tourists may also take a glimpse of the village’s history by visiting the Museum of Liverpool. The museum has a collection of archaeological material, archives and art pieces that reflect the early days of Liverpool. Another remarkable museum in the village is the World Museum Liverpool which has displays associated with the port’s nautical, social and commercial history.
