or Lordsburg accommodation? Lordsburg is the seat of HIdalgo County in the state of New Mexico. Founded in 1880, the city is used to be the site of a Japanese Internment camp operated by the US army, which also held German and Italian soldiers. The town sits right next to the Sonoran desert of Mexico, one of the least populated areas of the American southwest.
This is home to the Lordsburg Municipal Airport, the first airport in New Mexico. Other attractions to see in Lordsburg include the Steins Ghost Town, a former mining and railroad town which were built in l860 with the establishment of the Southern Pacific Railroad. Another attraction worth visiting is the Veteran’s Park in Lordsburg on the road to the Shakespeare Ghost Town. When it comes to restaurants and dining, Lordsburg has a lot of that too. Visitors can try Arby’s, EL Yaqui Restaurant, Subway, the Deli Shoppe and the Ramonas Café.
