United Kingdom)
or Ludlow (England) accommodation? The town of Ludlow is a market town in Shropshire, in the West Midlands area of England. Sir John Betjemen once described the town as ‘probably the loveliest town in England,’ a statement of which the town is, justifiably, quite proud. Trains via Kidderminster and Hereford will get you into Ludlow, although driving is also an option, and once there, getting around by foot is the easiest way to see the town. The Ludlow Castle, which dates back to the Normans, and was built in 1066, is a popular attraction in Ludlow, along with several other historic buildings, including a fully restored medieval house on Castle Square are well worth visiting. If you visit Ludlow in June and July, you will be in time for the Ludlow Festival, or if you plan your trip for the Christmas period, you can participate in the festivities of the town’s Medieval Christmas Fayre. There is, apparently, the highest concentration of Michelin starred restaurants in Ludlow for anywhere outside of London, in the UK, so food lovers should be right at home, and, although there is a shortage of budget friendly accommodation in the town, there is a Travelodge just outside of the town itself. - Browse the Ludlow (England) Map or compare Ludlow (England) accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
