The Spring Festival is the most meaningful festival in the Chinese cultural and is similar to Christmas in the western world. It begins in the early days of the twelfth lunar month and last until the middle of the first lunar month of the New Year. On the fifteenth day of the first moon in Ma'anshan the Festival of Lanterns held following the end of the Chinese New Year Celebrations.
