United Kingdom)
or Maidenhead accommodation? The town of Maidenhead, in Berkshire, South East England, is located within the most affluent area of England. It is very near to London, and situated on the river Thames, which makes it perfectly situated both for commuters, and for visitors to the capital who want a more peaceful place to stay. There are trains and buses to Maidenhead from London, and buses that run in the town itself, so getting in and around should not be a problem. Boulter’s Island, and Boulter’s Lock, are both located on the Thames. The island features a small hotel and restaurant, and there are semi tame squirrels that run along the shore, so it is a pleasant place for a peaceful walk. Just outside of the town itself, you will find the village of Cookham, which is a traditional English country village, and boasts some very nice pubs and restaurants. Then again, with the Fat Duck, owned by Heston Blumenthal, in nearby Bray, and currently ranked the second best restaurant in the world, finding fine dining should not be a problem. - Browse the Maidenhead Map or compare Maidenhead accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
