The town is famous for its Disneyland Resort Paris which opens up a world of fun and activities for all age groups. The resort is comprised of two theme parks, a retail, dining and entertainment community and several Disney owned hotels. The two theme parks are the Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park. Excursions to and evening tours of Paris as well as trips to the impressive palace known as Chateau de Vaux Le Vicomte are available. A number of entertainment facilities such as cinemas, shops and bars can be found in Marne-La-Vallee. A unique experience will be had exploring the new built up area of Val d’Europe. Several thrilling performances and live shows featuring famous singers and Hollywood stars can be enjoyed at the Disneyland Resort. A lively Jazz and Blues festival is also held in the town yearly. Festival Latina is a large event in Disneyland held for three days in June with a diverse selection of musical and other cultural performances. There are many wonderful and magnificent places to stay while visiting Marne-la-Vallee. Among the most satisfying stays are the hotels associated with Disney including Hotel L’Elysee Val d’Europe, Adagio City Aparthotel and Vienna International Dream Castle.
