or McComb accommodation? McComb is a city in Pike County, Mississippi and was named after Colonel Henry Simpson McComb. The city played a role in the Civil Rights Movement, where more than a hundred students were arrested in 1961 for protesting the murder of several activists.
Attractions in the area include the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad yards, the Quail Hollow Golf Course and the Pike County Speedway, the Putt House, and the Pike County Little Theater. The Percy Quin State Park is composed of a group camp area that can accommodate 200, lodge rooms and cabins as well as tent camping sites. This is also one of the best places to go swimming and golfing.
The city is also home to a number of parks, such as Armory Field, Baertown Park, the Police Complex Splashpad, Central Park and Higgins Park, to name a few. The city has a total number of ten parks that locals and visitors can use to hold picnics in.
