It is a reportedly a burial mound built by the Adena Indians between 800 BC and 100 AD. The mound covers an area of 877 feet and its original height was 70 feet. When the summer heat takes over Miamisburg, residents flock to the Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center. The Sycamore Trails Park, on the other hand, creates a fun venue for wintertime activities. Golfing is the main agenda in the PipeStone and Mound Golf Courses.
Downtown Miamisburg is the commercial center of the city. Plenty of small shops and restaurants line the streets of downtown.
