Tourists can also visit the The Big Mosque which is the main mosque of Monastir. For fun under the sun, tourists can go and visit the beach of Monastir which is a great place for swimming. The beach is close to the town center and boasts of its clean sand and water. A wonderful attraction on the beach of Monastir is its islet. Lastly, tourists can buy souvenirs and other items at generally low prices in the city's bazaar.
