United Kingdom)
or Morecambe accommodation? The town of Morecambe is located a few miles from the Lancashire county town of Lancaster, in the North West of England. It’s well served with trains from other parts of the country, and easy to reach by road, and while it’s larger neighbors may suffer traffic congestion, since most people walk in this town, that’s not a problem. Morecambe shares its name with Morecambe Bay, which is one of Britain’s largest tidal areas. The area is well known for wildlife and birds, and therefore great for nature enthusiasts. The Promenade in Morecambe extends all the way along the sea front, and there are a variety of restaurants, hotels, statues, and parks that line this stretch of land, making a walk up the prom the ideal way to find the town’s more interesting sights. The medieval village of Heysham is nearby, and worth a visit, and the Lake District is also within easy driving distance, which makes Morecambe an ideal base to explore the area. Then again, while you will not find any big hotels here, the Crown Hotel offers boutique accommodation, and a nice restaurant, in the form of Pebbles, and there are a few other nice hotels in the area. - Browse the Morecambe Map or compare Morecambe accommodation from Hotels, Motels, B&Bs,
