Norman Accommodation

Searching for hotels in Norman (United States) or Norman accommodation?  The city of Norman is the third largest in the State of Oklahoma, in the USA. It is located in what is known as the Frontier Country, in Cleveland County, and is the site of the University of Oklahoma.
Flying into Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City, and then taking the thirty-minute shuttle from the airport to the city is the easiest way to reach Norman, although there are trains at times. Once in Norman, however, it is advisable to rent a car, as the public transport system is limited.
Lovers of museums will find plenty to do in Norman, with the Crucible, a working bronze foundry and gallery, the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History and the Fred Jones Museum of Art being just a few of the historic and cultural experiences on offer.
Outdoors, there is the George M. Sutton Wilderness Park, which is located within the city limits, as well as the Little River Zoo to explore. Lake Thunderbird is just outside of town, and the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge offer nice hiking and biking trails.
Gambling is another popular activity in Norman, and with three casinos – the Riverwind Casino, the Gaming Centre, and the Thunderbird Wild Wild West Casino to choose from, there is plenty of opportunity to test your luck.
The Residence Inn, by Marriott, is near the University and most amenities, and is a good choice for accommodation, and, as one would imagine for a midsized city, there are a wide range of restaurants, bars, and clubs to choose from.
